Here is a list of tools that I find useful

Code to Text Ratio - This tool will help you discover the percentage of text in a web page (as compared to the combined text and code).

Future PageRank - This tool will query Google's various data centers to check for any changes in PageRank values for a given URL.

Google Datacenter Watch Tool - This allows you to check a bunch of Google data centers to see if your site is moving up or down. Sometimes you might be getting weird results on your machine that hardly anybody is seeing. This lets you check to see what most people are seeing. I use it to see if my new changes are starting to show up anywhere.

Google Webmaster Central - You can learn here how to ensure that your site is easily crawled and indexed and access tools that will enable you to diagnose crawling issues, study statistics on how your site is doing in our index, and tell us how you'd like your site to be crawled and indexed.

Web Page Analyzer - The script calculates the size of individual elements and sums up each type of web page component. Based on these page characteristics the script then offers advice on how to improve page load time.
