I left out some of the top social networking sites because they are very closed and not very affective when it comes to marketing most business. When you are trying to get your brand name out there social networks is a very affective way to do this. Some of them you join and set up a presence like myspace or bebo. The others you submit your site to or have your site submitted for you. If you have something innovative and interesting to show the world social networks are the place to go to.
