		<description>I remember when Brett dissallowed everything with his robots.txt.  He said that google still spidered his site.  They just did not include it.  I think a good test would be to link to a site with a unique string that can't be found in Google.  Then if the site linked to ranks for that term then that would prove if you get any value from the anchor text.</description>

		<description>That would be an interesing experiment moltar and easy to perform. I have read (but not tested to confirm) that Google follows links with nofollow, but does not pass a 'vote' on to the site. I am not sure how Yahoo and MSN handle nofollow so I will be most interested to find out. Good idea.</description>

		<description>I was thinking the same thing, David. I wanted to do an experiment. Create a page that is not linked anywhere, and then post one link with nofollow and see if any major SEs pick it up.</description>
