		<description>I remember when Brett dissallowed everything with his robots.txt.  He said that google still spidered his site.  They just did not include it.  I think a good test would be to link to a site with a unique string that can&#039;t be found in Google.  Then if the site linked to ranks for that term then that would prove if you get any value from the anchor text.</description>

I have read (but not tested to confirm) that Google follows links with nofollow, but does not pass a &#039;vote&#039; on to the site. I am not sure how Yahoo and MSN handle nofollow so I will be most interested to find out. Good idea.</description>
