Askjeeves.com switches to Ask.com, Butler is gone
Barry Diller speaks at SES New York to introduce new look. The new Ask.com has tons of new stuff. There is a new menu bar on the left side. It is interactive. You can drag and drop the menu to reorder them. They have a map program. I guess you have to have a map program to be a real search engine.
I like the new look it is very clean. I think what they have done will bring them more market share. One thing they need to do is clean up their index. It is very stale. Lots of old dead URL’s. They need to update more often. MSN should do this if they want to go anywhere as well.
