Google is offering a new download bundle www.pack.google.com

January 7th, 2006 ogletree

If you go to

www.pack.google.com

you will find a software bundle to download. At first I thought it was stupid who would want all these things. I then noticed that they have a remove button under each item. You can pick and choose what is in your download bundle. That makes it nice. Especially if you are setting up a new computer.packgoogle

    Hey guys,

Now it says the Norton Security Scan is included in that download. What’s that means? Will we have our PC protected from Virus? Is that a free version? Thanks in advance.

uild Up Awareness With Breast Cancer Wristbands There are charities and causes created every day across the world. Instead of expensive contributions, some of them believe that small contributions at the same time, keep the cause on people’s mind. The best example in these days is pink breast cancer bracelet that can be gotten for a few dollars. This is not a fashion just for young people, instead of that it has been famous among other age groups. There are many other colors of rubber bracelets to generate funds for charitable purposes. Another example…

We’ve been slowly making little design changes to the site as time has allowed. At one time this site was making us around about $2,000.00 per week and for a part time business that isn’t bad. And since it is being done on affiliate marketing bases that means it is 100% profit, which makes it even better. However, these days I’ve neglected the site and the amount that it is currently doing has dropped off quite a bit. I’m hoping to get the numbers back up and my plan is to start working with the site quite a bit more in the coming…

Chrome is nice in that it’s easier to open a new tab, there are less virus’ targeting it, and instead of having a separate search window, it’s all combined.

Although there are some issues with typing. For instance, as I was just typing now, some words aren’t showing up. The space is there as if the word is also, but the word in the beginning of each line doesn’t show until I advance to the next line. Also, some words are combining, and overwriting, even thought the insert key was never pressed.

But mostly, if you have a Hotmail account, you can’t type emails. You can READ them, but it won’t give you the ability to type. I’ve inquired Google about it, with neither a response, nor any chance of finding plugins to fix the issue.

It’s great to see them get to 1.0 and will mean more choices for users,” said Mozilla chief executive John Lilly, in an e-mailed statement. Lilly also took the opportunity to plug his company’s own browser. “Firefox 3 use has grown quickly over the last few months and we’re excited to release 3.1 early next year … competition is clearly creating better browsers than ever.”

Mozilla has had a lucrative relationship with Google over the years. In 2007, for example, 88 percent of Mozilla’s revenues , to the tune of about US$60 million, came from its deal with Google. The search company pays Mozilla for assigning it as the default search engine in Firefox, and for click-throughs on ads placed on the ensuing search results pages.

The problem with adding query strings to the file is that some systems (e.g. reverse proxies, CDNs) do not cache these files by default (most can be configured that way, but it might have other implications). Another idea is to allow the user to select whether sf_cache should delete outdated bundles.

Watch for hidden purposes. You may think you have honorable goals, like educating an employee or increasing connection with your teen, only to notice that your language is excessively critical or condescending. You think you want to support, but you end up punishing. Some purposes are more useful than others. Work on yourself so that you enter the conversation with a supportive purpose.
