Spam recipes in Gmail spam folder
When you go to your spam folder in Gmail there is always an ad on top with a spam recipe. I have always thought this to be weird but never put much thought into it. Why does Google do this? It is always a recipe from www.recipesource.com. How does www.recipesource.com get this great exclusive? Do they pay for it? Obviously Google has hard coded this. There is no way to site target Gmail with Adwords. If I type spam into Google I get lots of ads that show anti spam software. Google has always made such a big deal about showing proper ads to people. Proper ads here should anti spam programs or something Internet related not recipes for some mystery meat.
I thought I would post a small list of the recipes that show up on the spam folder. Enjoy…
Vineyard Spam Salad – Combine grapes, spam, peapods and onions in large bowl
Spam Breakfast Burritos – Bake 5-10 minutes, serve with salsa
Savory Spam Crescents – Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
French Fry Spam Casserole – Bake 30-40 minutes
Spam Vegetable Strudel – Bake 20 minutes or until golden, serve with soy sauce
Spam Fajitas – Serves 8, add extra salsa if desired
Spicy Spam Kabobs – Serve with hot cooked rice
Spam Imperial Tortilla Sandwiches – To serve, cut each roll in half

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who was wondering this…
