		<description>Ogle -
I complete agree with you. One of the quickest and most efficient ways of accruing traffic and backlinks is via directories and link exchanges. I've noticed a 'web 2.0ish' comeback for link exchanges as of late (http://adgridwork.com and http://bla.st are two that made the frontpage of digg recently) and have incorporated their widgets on several of my blogs. What's nice about these widgets is that there is no hard-coded links on your site that could potentially leak trust from your own site or blog. Instead you get free publicity for about 5 minutes of work :)

Anyways, its nice to see someone revisit these established topics instead of droning on and on about SEO, SEM, SES, Linkbaiting, etc. Keep up the good content.
